houston, we have spearation

here we see MK as the spent ( very ) solid fuel booster rockets finish their job, and fall to the sea. she has parlayed herself into a spot far far beyond our means, and imagination. she did it with help from many who read this, so thank you all very much indeed.

in other words, the kid is a now a freshman at notre dame, and by all reports she is digging it the most. as for me, with time-sink of a kid gone, trainin' for 2010 started today. :)

All I can say is "Wow! Time Sink?" If I'd used that term with Sephie, you'd be able to hear sound of the smack against the back of my head from Karen...

Uh, wait a minute. I forgot that it's me trying to pack in the miles until my own beloved "time sink" returns after Suamico.

Anyway, we had discussed the separation amongst the group this weekend and it was unanimous. A cool family was rewarded appropriately for what came naturally to them.

My research shows that a level and controlled takeoff was a difficult thing as shown by this graph;

Gretchen = booster rocket
Tmont = bottle rocket
